My Practice

I am a consultant cardiologist based in Dorset. My 10+ years of training and clinical experience in the field of interventional cardiology, has largely driven my focus on coronary risk and prevention – encouraging holistic physical and mental wellbeing – as well as treatment.

As well as working full time as an NHS Consultant, I offer private consultations and treatment. I can meet patients face to face or via telephone or video consultation as appropriate and according to patient preference.

Background

My Credentials

I started my consultant NHS practice in 2019 at Dorset County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

I currently lead two general cardiology out-patient clinics and a special cardiovascular disease prevention clinic, where he performs standard and complex percutaneous coronary intervention whilst providing training for junior doctors – I also perform computed tomography coronary angiography managing patients with low and intermediate risk for cardiovascular disease.

Key to my practice is my investment in the region-wide 24/7 emergency heart attack treatment service based at The Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch Hospital (University Hospital Dorset).

With a focus on new technology for the improvement of patient care, I am an investigator on a number of clinical trials conducted at Dorset County Hospital.
