I am really excited about running my first Bournemouth Half Marathon. Training has been going well- I am managing 3 sessions per week, 8km per session. I am aiming to complete the distance in under-2 hours – this would be an improvement on my last half marathon in London in 2019 where I came in at a time of 2 hours 9 minutes. Although not a natural long-distance runner, I find running an important part of my fitness regimen for improving my cardiovascular health.
